PropertyWizard 1-4-0 has just gone live on the Autodesk App Store. This version adds two much-requested features: your formulas can now target Type parameters, and they can read Global Parameters. You can use PropertyWizard to copy hidden data from the Revit API into your element parameters. This example shows PropertyWizard replicating Element Ids into visible element parameters for walls and doors.

A quick video showing the PropertyWizard add-in keeping a parameter up-to-date. The target parameter shows the sheet’s full BS 1192 / ISO 19650 number, and it’s formed by concatenating a set of other parameters, one for each field. With PropertyWizard, the full number parameter is kept up-to-date as you change the individual field parameters.
